Today's featured bottle for our Wednesday Break-Even Special is Caol Ila 12 Year Single Malt Scotch. Caol Ila is the Gaelic name for the Sound of Islay, and their world-class scotch has been distilled on the shores of the sound since 1846. Widely celebrated as some of the finest Islay style scotch, Coal Ila is known for their smoky, sea-fresh aromas and peaty, smooth flavor.

Coal Ila 12 Year is one of the most celebrated Islay malts worldwide, boasting a bevy of awards and recognitions for its approachable but traditional style. Tasting notes include an imalted barley and gentle florals with high smoky aroma on the nose; a light and fresh balance of toffee, vanilla, pear, smoke, and char on the palette; and a complex, long finish, with sweetness fading to dark and smoky flavours.
