BREAK-EVEN BOTTLE: MIDLETON VERY RARE VINAGE RELEASE

March 16 2022

Feeling lucky? This week’s break-even bottle is a delicious Irish whiskey in honor of St. Patrick’s Day: Midleton Very Rare Vintage Release. Produced in East Cork as part of the Midleton family (distillers of well-loved Irish whiskeys like Jameson and Redbreast), this spirit is specially distilled and released in limited quantities each year.

This vintage is the 37th edition in the Very Rare collection, and is a handpicked blend of exceptional single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys. Midleton Very Rare 2021 is aged from 13-35 years in lightly charred ex-bourbon American oak barrels.

You’ll find sweet mandarin orange, vanilla, pot still spices, cedarwood, and charred oak on the nose; a taste featuring a smooth mouthfeel with flavors of vanilla, red apple, spice, and antique wood; and finally, a long finish with notes of spices, green fruit, and barley.

This rare Irish whiskey is one you don’t want to miss. $7 an oz, today only, while supplies last. Cheers ☘️🥃
